Regripping, Not a Fitting

If your grips are slick, this is the right purchase, not a full session. Desert heat here breaks down grip tack faster than most players expect from a previous market.

The Process

Solvent-Stripped, Logged, Reinstalled

We solvent-strip the old grip and inspect the shaft underneath, which is where corrosion and old tape residue actually hide. Re-tape follows your logged build-up so a regrip never silently changes your grip diameter session to session, then the new grip goes on and cures before you pick up.

Same day on most jobs if you drop off before early afternoon. We stock a working range rather than a full wall — if you want something we don't hold, lead time is usually under a week.

Why Palm Springs Grips Go First

Summer surface temperatures here regularly push past what most grip compounds are rated for comfortably. Tack that would last two full seasons somewhere temperate can go glassy in under one here. If you play through the summer months, checking grips more often than the calendar suggests is a reasonable habit, not overkill.

Drop In, No Appointment Needed

Most regrip jobs are quoted and started the same visit.
